History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Knight. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is mildly Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and a strong sense of loyalty to elven people

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Varis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Gifted from a young age, Varis studied abroad. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.
