History: Born in the west to a Farmer, Vanuath learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Varis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Map Maker. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Map Maker for hire.
