History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. During his travels, Lucan and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Lucan discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Lucan fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Arannis hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scimitar.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Soveliss was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Soveliss's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Soveliss and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Fivin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
