History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Heian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Aust hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. After a long history of fighting, Aust and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. A gifted student he started as a Unemployed, but he got bored and became a Carpenter. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carpenter for hire.
