When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Shoemaker arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Raer and his spouse have recently divorced.
