History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Theren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Theren never married again.
