Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born in a small plains village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Varis took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up glaive and armor he uses now. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Mason who has hired him part-time. He takes great joy in being the best Mason in town.

History: Halimath lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He struck the Mason job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: Soveliss is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A freak accident while working with his Doctor father left him crippled. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Soveliss fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.
