History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Peren alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Peren was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Marshal arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A freak accident while working with his Unemployed father left him crippled. Recently the stress of being a Marshal has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and balancing his hectic life and new marshal responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Berrian will drive conversation. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Interpreter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and to reunite with his absent mother
