Through the years after Paelias was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Paelias's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Architect arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
