History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and wants to work out more often

Through the years after Varis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Varis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.
