Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Naeris is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born into a rich family. A freak accident while working with his Dilettante father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
