Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. History: Efferil lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Lamlis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dyer. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
