History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Paelias was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Paelias was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Paelias decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Nim was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He worked as a nervous Spice Merchant and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theren fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Naal is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Naal grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Naal. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: Seeks redemption.
