History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Paelias alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Paelias was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: Rolen is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. After coming to the age of reason, Rolen took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He now mingles about in high society.
