History: Born in the east to a Armorer, Raer learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Armorer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Armorer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.
