History: Varis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Laucian embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Laucian and his spouse have recently divorced.
