History: He comes from a rich northern family. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Theriatis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He worked as a nervous Roofer and found it very stressful. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. The war was a terrible time for him, and Paelias does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He bought a rapier and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears silk and lounges about seductively. He wears his black hair up in a very large beehive style do. His eyes are brown and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: The child of a Miner, who enjoyed hunting, Tharivol was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
