He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Spy for the past few years.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Heian enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Heian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Heian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
