History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

After coming to the age of reason, Arannis took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
