History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. Paelias is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Paelias lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and many orcs want him driven away

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.
