History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Varis took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Animal Trainer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He now mingles about in high society.
