He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Soveliss enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Soveliss grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

History: Eiravel lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When Eiravel reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Architect they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Cook, and he later adopted a second son.
