Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. The war was a terrible time for him, and Varis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Mindartis was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

History: The child of a Sage, who enjoyed hunting, Aelar was taken on many hunting expeditions. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and elven compassion

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Naill alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
