History: He was raised in a island tribe. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Caeldrim alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He worked as a nervous Carpenter and found it very stressful. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and he is unsatisfied with his job
