He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Assassin work with an outfit from a few towns over. Assassin work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Assassin for hire.

History: Paelias was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He tends to his Jeweler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and to be a herbalist again

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He worked as a nervous Carter and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Bounty Hunter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: This dark-skinned male wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His brown hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Armorer business.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
