History: Varis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
