History: Varis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Varis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
