Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: An older man who wears a violet feathered hat and violet clothes, he is not a threatening figure. He wears a feathered hat to cover his moderate length blonde hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Eiravel was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Eiravel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Eiravel. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He bought a bastard sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to find somewhere to settle down
