History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Varis liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He is dressed in an above average manner. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His silver hair is lengthy. His eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Quarion was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Galinndan is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was taken from his home at a very young age. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: He is a husky man, who is dressed in a clean brown cloak covering his clean studded leather. His hair is cut close to his head. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is mildly Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Soveliss lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
