History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aelar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aelar. Being a Jeweler kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Miller profession.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has taken up work as a Beggar and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Theriatis hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: Hadarai speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Hadarai lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
