History: He comes from a rich western family. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. After a long history of fighting, Laucian and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born in the south. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. Being a Apothecary kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: Born in the north to a Farmer, Aelar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away; and balancing his hectic life and new farmer responsibilities is difficult
