History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the west were limited. After a long history of fighting, Naal and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to orcs.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Scribe, but he got bored and became a Beggar. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Slave Trader hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
