He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Tailor arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Through the years after Laucian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Laucian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Laucian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
