History: The child of a Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Heian was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Heian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Heian. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: The child of a Gardener, who enjoyed hunting, Rolen was taken on many hunting expeditions. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. After a long history of fighting, Rolen and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born into a rich family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Korfel grew up listening to his father's many stories. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
