Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Ahvain took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Thamior alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Born to a Blacksmith, his father struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: His skin is bronze and flawless. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a green suit, black shirt, and tan tie. He is an epitome of beauty. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Tharivol embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tharivol grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: An older man who prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman, he is not a threatening figure. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and retire the richest man in the east
