Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born in the west. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Varis hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Through the years after Varis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Varis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Varis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.
