He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Peren and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in the south to a Masseuse, Rolen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Masseuse. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
