History: Gifted from a young age, Paelias studied abroad. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the west were limited. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Uthemar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His first spouse was a Painter, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Butcher.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Butcher responsibilities is difficult; and to be a painter again
