History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fortune-teller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Stableman, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and balancing his hectic life and new stableman responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He uses divination through singing.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ahvain grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Bather profession.

History: Peren was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and expand his business
