Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a chocolate of some kind. He has a large grey mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his black robe, marred by chocolates. He is bald on top and has large black tufts of hair around his ears. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Laucian enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. After a long history of fighting, Laucian and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Mindartis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new miner responsibilities is difficult

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He keeps his golden hair in a flapper bob. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'5" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He keeps his chestnut hair in a pixie cut. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 61. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. The war was a terrible time for him, and Peren does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.
