History: Peren was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Aelar was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Elven compassion; and he feels threatened by others
