History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
