Riardon was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Priest. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is an amazing painter.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Mindartis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
