History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Assassin arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was taken from his home at a very young age. History: Laucian was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Born in the north to a Miller, Varis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
