Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright red and violet, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Personality: Varis is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Varis took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up mace and armor he uses now. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mayor responsibilities is difficult.
