His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the west to a Fortune-teller, Nutae learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fortune-teller. He became a Fortune-teller soon after.

He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Raer embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born to a Architect, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Raer was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Raer's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
