History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and revenge

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Varis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
