History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to brigands.
