History: Born in the south to a Mercenary, Aelar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He now owns his own business.

Varis is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
