History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aerdeth fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and he is content

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. The war was a terrible time for him, and Efferil does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
